Standards for Use

Your perfect smile is getting closer!

For Geniova, it is very important that you have a clear understanding of how to use your device so you can get the best results. This is why we explain, step-by-step, how to place it, remove it and care for it. Following the guidelines we give you here, you will achieve the desired objective quickly, comfortably and aesthetically.

Read it carefully, and remember that your dentist is the best qualified professional to answer any questions. Your dentist will always tell you the right times and usage methods, based on your treatment needs.

1. Placement

Align the device with your teeth, starting in the back area, and apply slight pressure with your fingertips until you feel it has completely settled.

2. Removal

Place your fingertips on the back edge of the device. By applying gentle pressure on both sides, you can remove the back caps. Next, release the front caps the same. If you have attachments, it is advisable to first release the caps on those teeth.

Tips

Hygiene

Good oral hygiene is essential, so you should brush your teeth and use floss after every meal.

The amount of time the device should be used will vary depending on treatment needs, and your dentist will always explain it to you when starting treatment. However, recommended use is 16 to 18 hours per day.
